Mountain View is nestled in the center of Silicon Valley, just north of San Jose. The city is surrounded by Sunnyvale, Los Altos, and Palo Alto. This convenient location provides easy access to the entire San Francisco Bay Area and northern California cities.

A few years ago, the downtown was involved in a facade improvement project which upgraded everything from the sidewalks to the outdoor plaza, contributing to the overall strength of downtown as a shopping and dining destination.. 

The main downtown area surrounds Castro Street, from Central Expressway to El Camino and is home to a variety of great restaurants. No matter what type of food you are looking for, downtown Mountain View probably has it.

Castro Street itself is an inviting place to take a walk, people watch, and entertain visitors.
